CEGIS collaborates with the Karnataka Health Department to enable data-driven decision-making, optimise budget allocation and improve departmental staff effectiveness. The focus is on enhancing data quality of large-scale datasets like HMIS and RCH portals, setting annual targets for frontline workers and documenting roles and responsibilities for key health workers. This will positively impact about 24200 frontline workers, with indirect impact on 40000 ASHA workers. Initial assessments identified gaps in the distribution of health cadres, informing strategies to address critical needs. The project includes developing a systems diagnostic toolkit for health and engaging potential partners for on-ground interventions, ensuring better resource allocation and improved health outcomes across the state.
